Master Mines

We’re digging RPGs

Monthly Check-ups

Paul, Mike & I were talking about how awesome things are going with this group, and we hit upon an idea: every month (start next month), we’ll evaluate how the group is working.  Someone will post up and we’ll seriously invite comments about how the group is working for them.  This isn’t a “how is your game” but “how is Master Mines working as a group?”

I thought I would throw that out now, since some folks are looking at our group as a potential model for their own design groups.

  1. I absolutely agree. This group is about being useful to its members, and we constantly need to be checking that the participants are still getting out of it what they need to be (and if not, how to fix it).

  2. Sounds like a good idea.

I also wanted to suggest an “Update” category, one that any of us can use to relay general info to the group, for example if they are going to be away for a long period of time, or have reduced accessibility. I can tell you it will be invaluable for me once the High Holy Days roll around and I’m basically out of commission for a month or so.

  3. Good idea, Daniel. I just added a “News and Updates” category for this and similar things.
